The Road So Far

A bit over 10 years ago, All In Productions was founded with the goal of of providing more opportunities for Milwaukee-based theatre artists. Since then, AIP has produced 13 total full length productions, 4 readings, and 3 podcast play series. We’ve presented Milwaukee PrideFest’s first ever musical with our remount of HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH. We’ve also provided over 400 paying opportunities for Milwaukee area actors, designers, technicians, and musicians.

Our work towards supporting our community of artists has also evolved, with a focus on uplifting art and artists from underrepresented groups. In 2020, AIP revived the Wisconsin Diversity General Auditions, continuing the work Uprooted Theatre began in 2014. We now host the auditions annually and are also proud to provide audition and accessibility resources to actors, including monologue workshops and assistance with headshots, in order to help remove as many barriers to entry as possible.

However, like many companies, we ended up in a transitional period due to the start of COVID in 2020. During that time, we focused on producing virtual theatre and eventually returning to in-person readings, raising thousands of dollars for community organizations, and continuing to provide opportunities and resources to artists where we could.

Now, with our extended 10th season (running all the way through 2026) upon us, we’re excited to return with our first fully in-person season since 2019. We’ve already produced the first (as far as we know) nerd cabaret earlier this summer and the Milwaukee premiere of Embers, which is also our first fully produced new work, local work, and immersive outdoor production.

Looking to the Future

Now, we ask for your support during our relaunch year. Upcoming plans for the rest of ’25 and ’26 include:

-A reading of ENOUGH! Plays to End Gun Violence in October ’25

-A holiday cabaret in December ’25

-Our 2026 plans: Three full productions, several cabarets and readings

-Our continued efforts with the Diversity Generals and the resources we provide to artists
