Our Goals, Commitments, & Values

At All In Productions, our goals are to:

  • Create high quality theatre that entertains, raises awareness and provokes conversation of local and national issues, and enriches our community through multi-faceted programming.
  • Support local artists by providing opportunities for our diverse local and homegrown artists to hone their craft through productions, workshops, master classes, and other professional development opportunities.
  • Uplift art and artists from underrepresented populations.
  • Foster the friendly, inclusive, collaborative, safe, and respectful environment that is necessary for professional and artistic growth.

In order to do so, AIP will always work to follow the commitments and values listed below. This list will continue to evolve as AIP learns and grows to match the needs of the community.

Accountability: No one at All In Productions is above reproach. We will always have a reporting process in place to ensure any concerns or issues with regards to behavior, conduct, and issues related to individuals from our artistic company, executive staff, and board along with production staff and cast are addressed and that the safety and anonymity of the reporting individual is respected.

AI Policy: Generative AI is a tool that damages the environment and devalues the livelihood of artists. As a theatre that was founded by artists, is run by artists, and employs artists, All In Productions official policy is to not use Gen AI in any of our work, including but not limited to our marketing materials and productions. We will offer these same protections in our contracts to not knowingly share the likeness, personal information, and work of any of our actors or production staff members with any Gen AI platform/tool.

Anti-Bigotry, Anti-Oppression: We have a zero tolerance policy towards racism, sexism, sexualism, ableism, and all other forms of societal discrimination. Bullying, intimidation, or gatekeeping is not tolerated.

Costuming: As best practice, we inform all actors of the gender presentation of their role. If there are any costume items or articles of clothing that actors would be uncomfortable wearing, our creative teams will work with them to find alternatives that align with their comfort.

Diversity, Equity, and Intersectionality: All In Productions is dedicated to supporting and providing visibility and space for new and diverse voices and talent in our community.

Our team is dedicated to a mindset of always learning, growing and interrogating their own biases throughout all of our activities as a company. We will always do our best to navigate our theatre spaces in ways that focus on kindness, encouragement, hopefulness, and open mindedness.

Hair: We will communicate with actors upfront at contract signing if any changes are needed for hair styling for roles. We will work with actors to maintain and respect their current (at time of signing) and/or natural hair styling for all roles.

Intimacy: Creating a safe and equitable theatre space is one of our core tenets as a company. We will have an intimacy director on staff for all productions to help ensure we create this kind of environment. We will also communicate with those auditioning when roles may require intimacy work.

More Remunerative Employment: As a storefront company, we recognize that our current rate of pay is insufficient for a living wage for any performer that we hire. As we do not want to limit the opportunities available to our actors, we will always provide a More Remunerative Employment (MRE) clause in any overstudy actor contract that we offer.

Ticket Discounts: To increase accessibility and affordability to our productions, we have opened up our discounted tickets to be a general discount for anyone’s use. If the discounted rates are what you would like to use or best fit your needs, please use them. No questions asked, no judgements.

Transparency in Casting: We will always be upfront about the casting process and the steps that each audition will have. We will also always make it known when roles have been precast.

Transparency in Pay: All posted auditions and creative team and crew openings will have the pay amount disclosed in the posting.

Understudies and Swings: Each full production will have understudies or swings. Full understudy casts will be guaranteed one performance minimum.
