When Abby goes missing, the police think it’s an open and shut case. One dead teacher, Abby’s prints on the weapon, and her necklace found by the river. But her friends don’t believe it. The four people closest to Abby join forces to find out what really happened – in a group chat. As it turns out, they know more than they shared with the authorities, and with each other. Will they be able to find out what really happened?
A one-of-a-kind production that is designed to be experienced equally in-person or virtually, Absent will put you in the group chat with Abby’s friends as they search for the truth.
Our workshop production of Absent will run for one night only, November 13th at 7:00PM. The workshop will have limited live seating and will also be available to view via livestream.
Tickets are available via Eventbrite.

Guide for those attending Live and In-Person (53212 Presents @ 3700 N. Fratney St.)
The venue can be a little tricky to locate. As you travel on Fratney, you will want to turn in to the parking lot under the Nash St. street sign. From there, drive through the parking lot and turn right towards Dropout Fight Club/Dries Painting & Restoration. After you pass through the gate at the entrance of the parking lot, you will want to look for the Dropout Fight Club door (on the west side of the building) which is also the entrance to the 53212 Presents space.
The stairs up to the venue are a bit narrow and steep. Unfortunately, at this time, the space is NOT disability accessible.
We recommend dressing comfortably for cooler weather as the space is heated but is still a larger/open-concept warehouse style space.
